The day will cover the evidence based principles of traumatic stress management and will provide specific information about the traumatic stress peer support programme, TRiM (trauma risk management), which is used by the United Kingdom Armed Forces, many emergency services, media organisations and private security companies amongst others. The workshop will include demonstration of how TRiM works, which will allow the audience to see it 'in action'. Effective Traumatic Stress Management is an essential ingredient of any well functioning organisation and especially those who predictably place their personnel in harm's way.
Cost: £40 as a Cruse member or £45 for non-Cruse member. This will include a light lunch and refreshments at breaks, as well as handouts and a CPD certificate.
